I think Cam and Everett are now on my top list of favorite book couples! Holy moly, these two. The love is strong. The angst is thick. The attraction is heavy.

I fell right into this book from the first page. I definitely did not expect all of the angst and sexual frustration. And let me tell you, it had me in knots. I found myself right in the book with these characters. I wanted for them what they were afraid to achieve.

If you are a Tara Sivec fan, please know this isn't one of her funny books. Although, I giggled a few times. This story is heavy. This story is raw and real. Tara was able to tap into not just these characters' minds as adults, but she hit the nail on the head when delving into their teenage selves. She couldn't have written their love, jealousy and angst any better.

Overall, this is book is emotional and steamy. It is definitely one of my top reads of the year. Kudos Tara!

Ok. It has taken me a full 24 hours to figure out how to describe my feelings about Wish You Where Mine. I love everything Tara Sivec, her comedy, her suspense and the love her characters have for each other. Wish You Were Mine is one of my favorites Tara has ever written. My heart ached from the very first page. I felt every thing Cameron and Everett where feeling. From the friendship they had with Aiden, to the sorrow they carried over the years and the anger that comes with losing someone close to you. The great thing about Tara's writing is her story's flow like a river. Sometimes its smooth and easy then BAM rapids come and you are trying not to drown along with the characters. I love that Cameron and Everett have been best friends since they were kids, I too fell in love with my husband at the age of fifteen. It took years of heartache and pain until we finally pulled our heads out of our asses and jumped in head first. So this story touches very close to home. I don't want to give much away because I hate spoilers in a review but I can say that this book ripped my heart out and slowly picked up the pieces, putting them back together one by one. If this is your first Tara Sivec book I encourage you to read the other wonderful works of art she has written. You can thank me later. ;)
Even if I didn’t know who Tara Sivec was and didn’t already have plans to read this book, the minute I saw this cover, I knew I had to read it. The cover for Wish You Were Mine is one of those beautiful, memorable covers that gives other authors cover envy and readers just have to read the book. Aside from the amazing cover, this book is amazing. From the heartbreaking prologue to the heartwarming (yet tear inducing) epilogue, I loved this book.

Tara Sivec is a master of comedy who is quickly becoming a master of the powerful, emotional filled love story. Wish You Were Mine cements the fact that Tara can write anything. This book is absolutely beautiful and heartfelt. Getting to know Cameron and Everett and Aiden was amazing. Seeing them as children, watching their friendship grow and mature was not only fun, but it really added to the love I had for these characters. I really didn’t want this book to end.

I absolutely highly recommend this book. It was so great to see Camp Rylan and what it had become over the years. It was great to get a glimpse of Cameron’s parents Eli and Shelby. You do not have to read their book (The Story of Us) to enjoy Wish You Were Mine, but you should, because that book is amazing too. Tara is one of my go-to authors and I can’t wait to see what kind of awesomeness she writes next.

Wish You Were Mine is the reason I love reading, the reason I'm so passionate about the escape you feel when you fall into another world just like Alice fell into Wonderland. This book ignited me from within and god did I fall in love with it.

Everett, Aiden and Cameron were best friends, completely inseparable and had such a rare bond. When Everett receives a letter years later and knows he has to return home to a life that will never be the same again.

I love a second chance romance and I love a dual POV. Being able to read this book through both sides you could feel their pain, their fear of the unknown and the excitement to have each other back in their lives. You’re just as invested in their relationship because of the emotional roller coaster you on and they are both inspirational characters.

The writing yet again from Tara was exceptional. Each character had a story to tell, I felt connected from page one and this book owned me throughout.

Wish You Were Mine will stay with me for a long time. A beautiful heartbreaking book that will have you laughing and crying within minutes.

Cannot recommend this book enough, and certainly in my top 5 reads of this year!

I really cannot say enough about Wish You Were Mine. This book is EVERYTHING and I’ll never forget it. Five stars are not nearly enough for the journey Tara Sivec took me on.

The bond between Everett, Cameron and Aiden was magical. Friends for life that are put into a situation which will forever change their lives.

I absolutely want to delve into every single piece of this book, but you need to be as surprised, heartbroken and in love as I was. I was destroyed, all my pieces were put back together, I cried and I laughed. I felt every single emotion in this book and loved every single character as they each brought so much to the table.

This is, in my opinion, THE book of 2017. Wish You Were Mine was an absolutely amazing story...one I will never forget.
